Just a few shots of trees and rain to remind me what it looks like outside the lockdown walls.
And now for the windfarm.
No matter how close you get you just never have a real idea of the size of these things.Does this give you a bit of an idea?Maybe this does with Claudia standing underneath the tip.And this is the end that they bolt to the turbine.
You have put the limbs of the giant in perspective with utmost certainty. It’s a remarkable photographic enterprise too. Those trees and hillocks look inviting.
We were amazed when we saw them drive by the first time. Took us a minute to realize what it was. If Don Quixote was written today, it would have been a different story.
They installed a herd of them (I wonder what the collective noun is for a group of turbines?) in the hills near Atherton. That caused great excitement and rubber-necking in our communities!
That is amazing and yes it does give a different perspective on things. But it makes one realise why some people don’t like them. They are huge!!!

If it’s carrying that great big thing, though, that must be the longest lorry in the world! I wonder how it goes round corners?

Probably the real wheels of the trailer are also able to turn to left or right as needed
